USA, Canada, EU, Brazil, and Argentina: can stay in a visa-free regime for 30 calendar days.
CIS countries: Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, and Mongolia can stay for 90 calendar days.

Types of visitor visas:
Visitor E-Visa: as mentioned above, the simplest way of travel in Kazakhstan without visiting embassies and visa centers. It takes a few minutes to apply & pay for it. The result will be sent to your email.
Kazakhstan Embassy visa: visas, given you in the embassy, let you get multiply usage visas and stay in the country for up to 30 days. However, you should be a citizen of a country with the located embassy of Kazakhstan.
Visa upon arrival: being given in the airport, mostly works for countries which don't have an embassy in. For applying you need to have LOI (letter of invitation) and cash money to pay a fee. Visa application offices are located in the airports of Aqtau, Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Atyrau, and Oral.
It's important to remember that these offices work only from Mon to Sat in a standard schedule: from 9 to 6 local hours.
